Hello Friends,

I have received an offer in Cyberjaya, Selangor for 11K MYR. I will be moving from India. I would be travelling alone as of now but my spouse would be joining me in another 6-8 months. Please help me out with the following.

1. Is the salary good enough given that I earn around 10 Lpa INR in India
2. Where should I stay?
3. How about Transport to Cyberjaya?
4. What can be the monthly living expenses for a single person?
:unsure
Thanks
Sayan

If you do a search at the top of the Forum using the word Cyberjaya there are a lot of posts about transportation, accommodation etc. These should be helpful and answer your questions. You would need to work out in Malaysian Ringgit what the RM11k is in your currency, as the systems are not really known in this part of the world. That should also tell you the magnitude of the salary compared to your current earnings. The salary is quite good in terms of purchasing power, but whether it rewards your qualifications and experience is unclear. You can see that by the comparison with your current salary.
