holiday!!!

Just heard from my daughters too that schools have been declared closed on Wednesday.

Received an email from my HR too declaring holiday on wednesday. Thats sad for me, one more boring day. Hope it passes by soon.

Wow, I didn't know that!!! No body told me nothing!!! I guess Saudis just don't give that its rights, they just make a lot of mess around on that day, and I think this one is gonna have a lot of security around, National Day, huh!

i really wondered how you come up with your name "ramon"... most of the saudis(or arab people) are named as mohammad..

anyways...Saudi National Day is on Thursday..so since it is weekend they made wednesday as holiday....yeeepeeee!!!

And about the nick name, it's a long story, and this nick name has something to do with math, and stuff. lol, So, it's a really long story.

And I really hope you guys can have fun, but I don't think there's any fun there, since Saudis messed it up last year. lol! This year, it's gonna have a lot of security, I think.

Schools, Government and some private sector corporations are closed on Wednesday as I understand. My client is working cos they add the National Day holiday to the annual leave of their staff, making it 31.

Am not still sure about the Banks? If SAMA closes then I guess the banks will follow suit? I called SAMBA yesterday but they were not able to tell me. Not surprising at all!

Found out this morning at about 9am we are off tomorrow

Actually I wanted to work today and have the day added to my annual leave (when I'd actually be able to do something with it) but my employer wouldn't allow it

I feel like it's a wasted day if I have to spend it in Riyadh lol

Nothings happening anywhere, streets are deserted, Government is completely shut down, Banks are closed, Stock Market is sleeping .....

We are enjoying some refreshments at my clients office, sip sip sip, this coffee is hot....

Our day off today is counterbalanced with working next thursday, just 2 weeks to go before my real hols back to cymru - can't wait to go see my new grandson

Desert Dog is right. The day off was confirmed in the afternoon and we were told that we are working the following weekend, literally in the same breath.
Easy come, easy go.

ps, In real life Desert Dog looks nothing like a Saluki more like a well fed blood hound.
