LMRA medical question

Post new topic

Ocfemjc

I was given a date by LMRA to go to the medical centre for my visa, however I chose to do it through a private hospital.
The man who sorts our visas etc at work is now asking for BD 20 for this medical I did not attend.
Surely if I did not attend I should not have to pay! I paid BD 107 to do it privately and don't really want to fork out another 20 for a service I did not use.
Can someone clarify this please.

i know there is a cost to book an appointment for the medical test, which is paid by the PRO (internal or outsourced) and this cost is usually taken care by the employer. It may be different for others, so i am guessing its the same cost of what he's talking about. I am not sure whether you could dodge this cost or no.

If anyone has more info on the same kindly share!
