OK, so I registered for Bicing, but i've also been given/loaned a mountain bike, but need to get a few bits and pieces.

I'm wondering if there's a Barcelona equivelant of Halfords...

Any other amateur cyclists up for bombing around Barcelona area exploring? I'm not a full on lycra nut, although have nothing against that at all, just used to bike everywhere in London, enjoyed going for rides with people and would like to do the same here!

I've got a friend who owns a bike shop here, nothing like halfords, just a little place where they sell secondhand bikes mostly, but if you want anything he can order whatever it is from the wholesalers.

Haven't seen any big bike stores actually, but I'm sure there must be a couple.
