Hello
I am over 50 and retiring in Mauritius in the next few months and would be interested to know where the best place to look for a home where I can make new friends expats and locals and have a full active life.  I am not a geriatric.  I don't mind which part of the island.
Many thanks for all suggestions

Nayana

I'd say North is the best place for someone to live with a nice social yet peaceful relaxing surrounding! you can sometimes even rent nice places for long term for a lower price than you imagine.
