I am working on a project in the USA for raising awareness about domestic violence in several languages, Cambodian is one. Basically, I need to find 2 images, of a couple and family, without spending a lot of money. This is for a non-profit and we have little to spend.

Would anyone be able to help me? If you have a photo that might work, I can pay you around $50 to $100 USD for the rights to use it, it must be of good quality since it will be printed in a professional brochure.

Or, is someone willing to help me find on one the web on stock photo sites for a service fee?

Please email me ASAP at sophiakostoff@gmail.com

I am not extremely familiar with the culture, and i do not trust myself to choose the photo on my own. On most sties, it does not list the specific culture, only "Asian".

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

If you know of a couple or family and could take their picture and then send it, i can send a form to sign giving me rights to use it. Again, must be in good shape, a nice composition, family and couple must look very loving. Can be traditional or not.

Dan,

I couldn't have asked for a better response.

I need 2 photos; loving couple & loving, happy family.
If I could get about 3 good shots of each to choose from, that would be ideal. There are some picky, picky women on my committee.

The shots can be straight on, or the subjects can be looking away from camera, whatever. The images must exude safety, comfortability, love, security and satisfaction. Since they will be used in the US only, less traditional is better, they should be relatable to immigrants here.

If they are good, I think I can pay you around $150 or more for both. I have a certain budget and I need to find photos of Pakistanis and Persians, but if I have more than I need, I would gladly pay you more (especially if you are a fabulous photographer!!!) The deal with our funding for this project is that we can only spend the $ on the images, so it would go back to the govt. if I don't spend it.

I do need these photos asap, so let me know.
Thanks, Dan.

Hey Sophia,

Do the photos need to be indoors or out?  In a home or in a public place, seated or standing, what type of character should the models have, old or young, smart or casual,  etc etc, as much info as possible would be great as I can then go and setup the shoot as required.

kind regards,

dan

It doesn't matter - out/indoors. The other images I have seleced for the other 7 languages have the subjects pretty tight in the shot. Does that make sense? Close around them, not much background. The other details you mentioned don't really matter either, maybe if one couple is old, the family young, or however it works easiest for you in terms of who you find.

Could you get something by the weekend? Just met with my supervisor about this project and we have a deadline...

Thanks!
