Hi all!

So i am moving to Paris in September, and i am starting to look for places there.
I'd like to live in the city but in a quiet and safe neighborhood.

Anyone has any recommendations?

Thank you all for your help!
Laura

The whole of Paris is safe. I have had friends come over from South America who were terrified to take a bus in Paris. So funny. You are safe everywhere in Paris. I have lived here for 35 years.

Thank you Kevin! It's really good to know :-)
How you recommend I then choose where I would like to live?

If you're rich and you like to show it by paying too much for everything you buy, you live on the West side.
If you're bored by bling and sensible with money, you live on the East side.
If you like a constant throng of tourists destroying your sleep, you live near a monument.
If you like your peace and quiet, you stay away from touristy areas.
If you like ethnic cuisine you choose to be near Asian, African, European etc. shops, so you don't have to make special journeys to buy stuff. I like Asian and I live near ChinaTown  :)

Paris is small, Greater Paris is big, but having lived outside the city several times I was always glad to get back in.
