We are looking to rent 1 or 2 bedroom apartment or flat from around end of august or start of September to 6 or 7 monthels if that's possible.

kk stands for "kuchynský kout" - kitchen corner - part of living room, not separate room.

So 1+1 means kitchen and one other room,
2+1 is probably living room, bedroom and kitchen,
1+kk is just one room with kitchen corner

some are in czech language but you can use google translator
6 months apartment you can get probably.
