Traveling to Iceland

Hey!

AM currently in Sweden on student exchange program from India
Am planning a trip to Iceland either from 8th October or 21st October or in November, flexible on that side.

Also not sure how many days would be enough and is one mode of transport by air and then by cruise a good idea.

Kindly give some tips/ideas so that I can plan accordingly

Being a budget traveler, want to minimize costs so have put up a few requests on CouchSurfing too but in vain!

Pour in ideas please :)

Christine

Hi, There´s not many ways to get to Iceland.
There is only really one international airport (Keflavik) and the main airlines going there are:
Iceland Express
Iceland Air

Maybe from Sweden you can find a flight with SAS.

The ferry is rarely cheaper and it will take you to the East of Iceland, which quite isolated and without a car you will need to spend a lot more money on a bus to get to Reykjavik. I recommend flying.
