Anyone here currently homeschooling their elementary kids? What program do you use? And is it transferable to the international schools? We are just finding out about a move, and not sure if we have missed the ice ings for this year ;(

FYI- Saudi ministry of education doesn't recognize home schooling.
international schools like the American school and British school are out of scope I think.

I homeschool my son , there is a lot of stuff available online for teaching at home, Google is great, start with finding out the curriculum then search lesson plans and worksheets accordingly. You can also get very good maths and English books from wh smiths or other book stores, I would suggest bring a lot with you until you can apply for the school you want and they do have waiting lists for if they are full.

Also go onto facebook to find other families in KSA that homeschool to see where they find resources locally vs always having to go online. I know of one in Jeddah called Jeddah Homeschoolers Network.
