Dear all
I'm planning a 3-4 days desert trip the first week of November, starting from Sebha.
Do you have any suggestion or experience to share?
Do you know any tour operator in Tripoli that arrange everything?
What about costs?

Thank you very much.

Hi pigee

There are few tours around for such trip, but I can join you and prepare for the trip as I know how to start it, if you would like, I know expats (very nice friends) that we have been together for a trip last Frieday to Leptus, and I think they would be interested as our last trip was successful. call me if you are interested 0918599849

Hi Pigee

I've done three trips down to the South, Sebha, the lakes and Acacus. Though it was organised by a Libyan friend and the guide/driver is a friend.

Though if you want an idea about what to expect, I've written about it on my blog.

Click on the link on the top of the page that says "Tonito's Adventures in Libya". You can find the posts about the trips under the Fezzaan and the Sahara.

(Sorry would have copied the link, but the blog is blocked at work, so couldn't give the direct link.)

Hi Tony, did you ever think of adding your blog to Expat.com's directory of blogs? Here's where you can do it.
Cheers

just read your desert blog, very interesting. You seem to like your guides over there. Would you recommend them?
We are planning to take a short trip and trying to find a guide in Sepha. How can we contact your guides

thanks
