Hi everybody my name is Tokkie and I live in Hillcrests, Kzn, South Africa. I am an Electronic Engineer of profession and have 30years experience in the design and manufacture of electronic products. I would like to move to Mauritius and bring this expertise to the country. I have searched on the Internet but have not found much detail about the electronic industry in Mauritius. I have vast experience in development and manufacture of utility management electronic (Water and electricity management) devices and would like to inquire about the requirements of these products in Mauritius. I would appreciate if somebody can point me in the correct direction or provide me with some contact details of the utility authorities in Mauritius. Any more information on the electronic manufacturing industry would be appreciated.

Just realised that this website : http://eemo.govmu.org
is the  Energy Efficiency Management Office (under the aegis of Ministry of Energy and Public Utilities)

So this will be a good one to write/email too and if you click about us, I think one of ythe missions is similar to what you are enquiring about.

Thank you for your reply. I will try and contact the utilities.
