Hi,

What do you usually do on your weekends in Vung Tau?

Are there any places to visit, any activities, any events or festivals regularly organized you would like to recommend?

What are your top tips for the weekend in Vung Tau?

Thank you in advance for sharing your experience, ;)

One popular thing to do is to go to the dog races Saturday nights, and sometimes on Fridays. There are a dozen races starting at 7:15. Admission is 60k VND. Bets can be placed with a minimum amount of 20k. Drinks and snacks are available. There is also a VIP lounge area upstairs that costs an additional 60k VND. It's more comfortable with A/C and armchairs but less exciting as you feel removed from the track. Anyway, it's pretty good fun for an hour or two.

Hi Christine,
Not only weekend, we enjoy our life every single day in Vung Tau.

In the morning, we do exercise in the park near the beach. There're groups of aerobic, you can take part in and train your body everyday. Or you can walk, jog in the park along the "Front beach".
Then, we have breakfast in coffee shops or any local friendly restaurant, inn, fast food "Banh mi" ...
In the evening, you can ride along the beach and enjoy the fresh air. There're many bars, inns, restaurants serving all kind foods.

Or you can ride - walk - jog to the top of Big mountain, visit the Torch Light , have a whole scene of the city.

Cheers,
