Hi. I am going for vacation to my home country and scheduled to come back on Aug.20, 2015....My concern is that my Visa will expire on August 21, 2015. I already booked a non rebookable flight. Is there any possible problem entering Oman?

You can and you must renew your employment visa and get yourself a fresh resident card issued before you proceed on your vacation.
