Hi,

We would like to talk about a sensitive but important topic: do you feel safe in Ghana?

How would you define the level of safety in the country?

Can you walk safely during the day and at night without any fear?

Do you think there is a high rate of criminality, social problems or tensions?

Share with us your insight on safety in Ghana and in the city you live in.

Thank you in advance,

Christine

Ghana is generally perceived to be a safe country. However the same precautions one would take anywhere apply here. Don't use your expensive mobile phone in markets or crowded areas. Watch out for pickpockets in crowded areas. Don't walk alone in places late at night or early in the morning.
The cost of living is becoming higher and higher and this is leading to more crimes like mugging and robbery.
That said I still feel safe in Ghana.

In Ghana like any other countries there is crime our driver was robbed at gun point last week by 3 men on motor bikes.luckily they did not harm him because he jumped in one of the nearby river streams and it happened near a well known estate.but overall ghana is a safe country because in other countries you will be robbed in broad daylight.
