Hi,

When living abroad, tasting the local cuisine is part of discovering the country.

What is your favorite food in Switzerland?

What is the local speciality?

Share with us the local tastes of Switzerland and why not your best recipe.

Thank you in advance,

Priscilla

Hello,

I never thought I would embrace Swiss cuisine really given I'm not very adventurous with foods but I must say, I love most of their cookings. My favorite is Raclette and Cheese fondue, in fact, I make better fondue than my husband.😊

My favourite Swiss dish is Rösti.
I'm no great cook myself but basically it consists of grated potatoes fried in butter.
Naturally it is a side dish to something else like geschnetzeltes Kalbsleber i.e. small fried pieces of calf liver.
Wonderful food with the added advantage of having few calories.  ;)
