SADAD payment

Post new topic

John697

Hi
I've got myself into a bind regarding a car loan that a friend was supposed to buy off of me. The whole thing is now up in the air (I know it's a stupid situation, I don't need reminding -  it's not fraud, but it's frustrating..).

I usually pay by SADAD payment but it's not linked to my account. I gave him the SADAD payment details, but he claimed that he couldn't make the payment when he visited the bank or online.

Do you know if other people can pay a person's personal SADAD payment? (i.e. not a utility bill etc.)

I assume they can, but he went by himself and the banks nearly always give different stories each time you visit. And I haven't been able to help him with online stuff because it's his bank account.

Thank you. 👍

Sadad Payments have a bill number (Invoice Number). It can be paid by anyone once the bill number is available. It can be paid through ATM as well as Online too.

Thanks. That's what I figured. I was hoping for a different answer.. :-(

Just to confirm - the whole loan would have one invoice number, or each month?

Generally each bill (invoice) is different and equal to an installment. However, it depends on Biller (Loan provider) how he handles them. For example, for credit card payment, some banks issues a bill (invoice) of total and for each monthly payment they issues separate bills. You can pay either of them. But keep the proofs with you always.

If your loan provider has issued the invoice via Sadad, you should pay either via, ATM, online banking, etc. If any bank is not accepting a payment for an invoice, you can complain Sadad Support.

HTH.

Thank you.

I'll need to go back and check the sadad payment details. I just wish it wasn't in my name anymore..

In online payment through SADAD for car loan, the amount appears whatever the due for the current month. As already mentioned by skhurram007, you can use any bank online here since they all have access payment through SADAD. IT'S VERY EASY. You must have an online banking, from the platform select SADAD. Add SADAD NUMBER (This is the number from which the loan is linked), BILLER NO. ( number designated to a company like Abdulatif Jameel or STC,etc.-there is an option to select the company with the corresponding number so u don't have to worry.). That's it! You are good to go! There's also an option in SADAD for one time payment only. So I suggest that you use your online banking to be hassle free from paying these fees even personal or for a friend.
Good luck!

Yes you can pay anything in SADAD as long as they have SADAD number. Utilities, Loans, credit cards, flights, etc.

Thank you. It really wasn't difficult for me to pay it online so I was wondering why he seemed to be having so much difficulty and figured that it must be the name but that didn't make sense either.

I'm tired of this entire situation, but will need tub wait until I get back to the KSA next month to sort it out...

Thank you everyone for your quick responses. It's helped me a lot.

Why not transfer the car to his name?

John697

I've tried to buy he's kept making excuses to delay it. It's put me in a very difficult situation. I will fix it very soon.

Find another buyer? use the classifieds section here.
Ive had experiences like this before, first they miss one payment, then few, then no payments.

Yeah. I agree with both your ideas. I was trying to delay it to help him but it seems some people don't want to be helped. They prefer running messy for as long as the road will go...
