Moving from turkey to Shanghai - How to ship personal stuff?

Hello Expats! I would like to ask for some advice. My partner and I are moving to Shanghai to teach English.

We are currently living in Antalya, Turkey and we want to ship some of our personal stuff.

I was wondering how can we ship something when we have no address in Shanghai yet?

Can we send to the port and pick up with our IDs or something?

You'll have to be very patient with me here, I'm new with this shipping thing.

What's the process for doing this?

Should I contact a company in Shanghai that will bring the package to China, or a Turkish company that will send to Shanghai?
