Restaurants and good food

Well

As a local, I think location is not really important, as long as it is not too noisy to have a good talk together.
There are 2 options:
+ If you are in for food:QUAN AN NGON, CUC GACH QUAN, CAFE DA TUNG THAY (hidden on a small alley on Ham Nghi Street: Viet cusine and perfect tasting) some local food stores, on streets  (depends on what she likes), Dist 4 for snails, Dist 5 for Chinese Cuisine, Dist 10 for Beefsteaf (not expensive), Dist 1 & 2 for Western foods...
+ If you prefer to drink and nice place: Go to coffee shops: Mien Dong Thao, Cafe Tram, Du Mien Cafe, Country House,  The Fig, Saigon Outcast, Secret Garden, SHE CAFE,

I often check on foody.vn or Foursquare
Good luck
Chris :)

HEllo chris.vi251 and MarkinNam,

Indeed the other post on which you reacted was outdated.

But these are useful infos you are giving out, so i created a new thread on the Ho Chi Minh City forum with your posts.

However, please let me know if it will be ok if we leave that topic on the HCMC forum or will it be better on the Vietnam forum as a whole.

Cheers, :)
