Putting it out there that we're coming to Espiritu Santo to work on our block we purchased a year ago. Our goal is to build a 3.5x5m wooden shelter in just 4 weeks. It's going to be a bit of an effort for the two of us who have never built in our lives but we're prepared to give it a go.
Our first challenge will be getting power tools (battery power) and other supplies. I know last time we were there there was 2.5 hardware stores (as Vanuatu hardware were just setting up their paint dept). I know of Wilco and Santo Hardware....
Is there any other places to check out for timer and building materials ?
Happy to meet with locals and expats once we get to Santo in late September....
