Hi

Home centre is Mozambique largest electronics company and is owned by the richest man in that country called Mohammed Bashir Satar, food in Mozambique is cheap depending where you buying it from plus the good thing about Mozambique is that you can negotiate any price. Some services are not avail but is a good place to live and safe people are welcoming. The secret to survive there is that you will have to learn Portuguese. The secret to make it you got to learn shangan.
Network companies are 3: mcel government owned and not so reliable at times
2 is vodacom which is the best though a bit costly compared to mcel. 3 is movicel a new player in the market.
You as Indian won't struggle much in there because there is a lot of Indians there.
Good luck

Thanks in deed. If possible can I have a cost of food only for a person ? Is  300 use enough for food only ?
