hi i want to find out if you employ someone as a househelp and you are giving her a salary far above the minimum wage are you suppose to buy the traditional food for the person every month or whats the best thing to do.

hkann

Not sure if I understand what you mean.  Our househelp gets around 500 cedis a month plus food and works 5 and a half days.

gangan2

we are giving her 1000 overtime included do you think we should still buy her food

hkann

I don't think so. Is she living in?

gangan2

yes she is

hkann

Then provide her with the facilities to cook her own food and make it clear she provides her own things to cook

gangan2

thank you for the useful information
