Driving in Botswana

In short:
- Incompetent
- Fearful
- Over cautious

Explain:
Motswana drivers are in general incapable of judging speed  and distance hence blocking traffic at every opportunity. The learn to drive in sand pits with "instructors" who are little more than owners of a wreck still moving.
Then disrespect red traffic lights, eating out of fast food containers and the use of cellphones whilst driving is doing the rest.
No enforcement of drinking ban whilst driving leads to most fatalities.

What I say is "you need to send 10 Motswana drivers to Johannesburg at the same time, they will manage to stop all flowing traffic on any major intersection"

Enough said, the good thing is most people do not have money for fuel to drive out of town, so the further from town the less obstacles.
