KZM -  we should be seeing him back for a vist to the Square. Hope its not the day I decide to go to the D'irhaa(sp)market.

Whatever happens they will simply blame it on the man upstairs

DONT try to clean up too much, cuz in riyadh too much is always too little.. With the stupid tiny sized specs of dust even closed/sealed areas will get dusty!!
And men will have to chill on their cars looking super shiny; IT WILL NEVER BE SHINY IN RIYADH.. Even the second after a car wash..
And all this advice is for a nice clear blue sky day..
Good luck with the sand storms..

You regret it?  I regret it because not only does he always bring it up, he always mentions my name in the same sentence :lol:

Alliecat

thank God you do, after all it was your mind that made the selection in the first place. you have to take responsibility for your initiation.

Alliecat

People do strange things in these hot sands.. always remember that!

Nothing 'backfired.'  It was a joke that continues to make me laugh--everytime you bring it up, actually

As for 'blame,'  I accept full responsibility! :)

musicman

thanks,

laughing at ones own jokes is an age old tradition on this planet, anyways

Alliecat

Hey, you gotta do what you gotta do to maintain your spirits in these hot sands.  That means enjoying small things :)

musicman

of course, no doubt about it....
so, why then make such a big fuss about referring to the original joke, as and when it becomes relevant, on the threads... after all it was meant for a good laugh, so lets keep on laughing and not get into hysterical knots...
many issues are repeated here, no one makes a fuss... why this one?

No big fuss--you misunderstand. Nonzie was just 'joshing' you and so was I!  I find your references to the 'mankini' to be hilarious :)  So nothing is hysterical or in knots, not on my end, anyway lol

musicman

great
so lets continue unabated and enjoy the jokes and everything else that keep us all smiling in he "sands"

Fidgety Soul

Yike:-S
I m gonna shut my mouth from now, whenever its about mankini:-(

musicman

I think this an advice that should be taken for all middle eastern countries.
It happened to me in lebanon, I asked for the cost of the trip and the guy said 2 dollars, so I was like wow pretty thats pretty cheap.. When we got to out destination I gave him the 2 dollars and then he said; what the hell is this? I meant 2 dollars for each person. And we were like 3 or 4 girls.. And then I said, "damn gurls, we forgot we're in lebanon!"

Curiosity killed a cat.. But luckily it didnt kill me, it made me understand!!
