Hi, I moved here 1 month ago exactly and need to make some new friends.
Happily married although, Hubby works away half the time so feeling quite lonely, just me and the pooch.
Mid 40's although inside am 25. Like socialising, drinks, dog walking (weather permitting), meals out etc.
If anyone can recommend a place to go to meet people for a lady on her own, please let me know.
Or any advise regarding the above would be massively appreciated.
Thanks

HowardP

You have several options.  I suggest for you Malta Meet Up group (social) and British Residents Association who have a library and meet up Tuesday to Friday mornings in St Pauls by the car museum. Activities are less frequent during the 3 hot summer months.  These is a BBQ boat trip to Comino in a couple of weeks so you will meet a lot of people.  Hope it goes well.

Thanks Howard I will look into this.

Happy to meet up if you would like. I'm just me & the pooch in Mellieha, its only 10 min away. Though i do have a busy social life, so can help you out there ;-)

Hi Bev,

I'm in the St. Paul's area, and in a pretty similar situation to you. If you fancy meeting for a coffee, I would love some company and conversation before I go totally mad! Send me a PM and we can exchange numbers.

Thanks

Hi

I've just been looking on expat sites on this soggy Sunday in Mellieha.

I moved here on 1st December 2014 and although I love it in Malta, I too find it a tad lonely at times.  I have a wonderful woofer who keeps me company now my husband and I have separated so maybe we could meet up and take the dogs for a walk.

Hope you're have a good Sunday

Geraldine

Hi flower 79
I am not sure if they will see your comments as its my post. If you click on the icon of each person you want to contact, there is then a link whereby you can private message them.
I tried to do that with you but your settings are set high and it won't allow me to do it.
Have a good week and will contact you when I get back.
