Hi there!

I am a french student just enjoying the wide range of opportunities to discover the world, so after a year in a university lab in Australia, an industrial placement in Germany (4 months), I am now living THE experience for european students: ERASMUS exchange programme in Holland...I just arrived there few days ago so I am still a bit lost and dont have so much to say right now, but it will come!

I hope everybody is going well wherever you are...

Hi LN!

We'll appreciate your feedback about the erasmus experience :) take your time there's no hurry but I sure we'll be a lot to be interested!

I've actually got a question: What's the difference between the Leonardo and the Erasmus program?

All the best,

Julien

loloieg

What a question !!

The name of course !!

:lol::lol::lol:

I tried to participate to the Leonardo progam when I was a student (I was looking for a training périod in Barcelona)... even if it didn't work I spent 5 months in Barcelona :)

LN

:-D
I think Leonardo is only for internship and erasmus for exchange student...will have a further look in all my paper!

virka16

Leonardo is a sort of training period...3 months in a foreign country with also the possibility to learn the language...my italian friend did it in France and he exactly made a month of french lessons (with the Alliance française) and two months of training period. It's free (travel, board and lodging it's all included) so it's a very good program ! It's a bit like European Voluntary service but for less time...do you know EVS ?

Julien

Thanks for your contribution Virka16 :)

I never heard about the EVS ... We should definitely create new topics in the European forum to talk about Erasmus, Leonardo and EVS!!

(the problem is that I didn't participate to these programs so I am not the best one to talk about it :/)

virka16

I did EVS in Italy. For one year, I worked for an association (www.festivaletteratura.it) and it was all free...I also had a bit of money each month. It was a great experience!
Because you also meet a lot of people from all Europe, because there are several meetings with other volunteers !
If you create this new topic, I could write something more in the details...
