Hi All,

I wanna find out is anyone of you have experience in changing a left hand drive car to a right hand drive in Dubai or UAE. How are the costs in general. I'm thinking of buying one, change and ship it to South africa which is a right hand drive country.

not recommended. It requires precision engineering and configuration.

Just take the car as is and be unique.

And rest I agree with hamudi, it will really require very precision engineering considering the sophisticated cars which are being manufactured these days. Guess the total cost would be more than the actual cost of the vehicle.

In my opinion, highly NOT RECOMMENDED !!

I think you can consider to buy right hand directly from Japan , they have auctions online and all the details about the car are properly documented plus they will also take care of the shipment

South Africa has quite a few left hand drive cars....I see no problem.
