Friday 28th August

Departure from Siġġiewi main square (Meeting Point: Local Council/Police Station)
at 22:00hrs (10:00pm)

Ends at Għajn Tuffieħa
with a BBQ

Bring with you: flash light (torch light) & batteries; light snacks/chocolate; drinks (water / if possible try to avoid alcohol), reflective vest, camera with flash light, insect repellent, swimwear and beach towel if you plan to swim.

We will have a BBQ at the end, so bring with you a disposable BBQ set, cutlery, cups, plates, your own food, etc.

Departure from Għajn Tuffieħa early morning. We will get private transport (van/coach) to drive us back to Siġġiewi.

Age: 16 years and over.

We will have a support car.

Donation: €5 per person
to cover the expenses (transport and support car)

hi chseychell,i see your having bbq @golden bay beach,please chech with mellieha local council,as they banned bbqs on a lot of their beaches, don't want you getting in trouble,hope all goes well,   dave

Hi Dave,
Thanks for the heads-up.
As far as I know, that is one of the few remaining bays where BBQs are still permitted. And one reason for asking people to bring their own disposable BBQ set is to ensure that everyone takes it back and dispose of it properly.
