To answer your questions in the sequence they're asked:-

1. How much pay can i ask for a good standard of leaving in USD for Managerial level - ANYTHING ABOVE- 4000 USD
2. My main concern is abt security in Nairobi. Is it a secured place to work bcoz i heard a lot about mob attacks n theift etc- NOT SECURED, JUST LIKE WHAT DELHI IS FOR FOREIGNERS, you need to be careful where you're going, what time you're going and with whom are you going. As long as pay attention, things shall be fine.
3. Wat will be the average expenditure per month per person- Around 140,000 Ksh per person including accommodation, food, petrol and other stuff.
4. Wat r the tax rates in nairobi- 30% FLAT and THERE IS NOTHING MUCH YOU CANT DO ABOUT IT.

Hi,I got a job offer in Nairobi.I am from india. I have done PGDM in Marketing.my designation is marketing &sales executive.there will be some field work also.  Pls help me with the following.
1. My main concern is abt security in Nairobi. Is it a secured place to field work for indians.

@Jschuphal- Well depends what kind of field work are you gonna do? I am into Sales and Marketing too and I meet my clients every day twice or thrice at their offices, hotels and restaurants. If this is what you mean by Field work then its fine. But if you r referring to a field work where you'd be expected to visit people door to door then Dont take up this job. Security is something which you need to take care of. I have spent almost 2 yrs in Nairobi now and Alhamdulillah, nothing wrong happened so far.

@SHASH78 - Are you asking or telling?? If you're telling, then you're completely wrong. Tax is not applicable only if you work with NGOs or UN. Or if you're a minister (Pun Unintended)

@Socialiser -Thank you for ur feed back.
Its not door to door sales.I have to target corporate clients.
