How can I transfer money from Malaysia to Thailand? by paypal, by bank account ( we have CIMB Bank in Thailand)

Thank you  :thanks:

You can of course just make a bank to bank transfers and it will be exchanged on arrival. However, you don't say which currency you want to transfer.

Exchange rates from RM to Baht will be horrible. Its always better to transfer major currencies such as USD, EUR, GBP if you have them.

try western union or https://www.lotusremit.com/Modules/RemitToBank.aspx

Nemodot

Depends how much. If over 20k USD a bank transfer will attract commercial rates (is much better rates). You will need a Malaysian bank account and the SWIFT code of your Thai bank.

If a 1000 USD just take and change in Thailand.

Reputable money changers do provide a TT service.
Presume at much cheaper fees.
MY to ID only cost MYR10 per TT.
