Hello how is everybody?
My husband and I are being relocated to Thailand from Dubai and i would like to know what are the best schools in Hua Hin and Bangkok. i have been looking online, but some Schools have very high fees and we would like a good school at a reasonable price.

Your feedback and recommendations will be highly appreciated.

Many thanks in advance.

You can find all the international schools here : http://www.isat.or.th/schools, just fiul Hua Hin in the area.

International Schools are cheaper here than in Europe but still expensive in regards of cost of living and wages.

I am in Chiang Mai, and the the fees I pay for my daughter in a British school start around 200,000 THB a year, up to 350,000 THB for the last year, count an increase of 5 to 10 % per year.

It is not the cheaper and not the most expensiive, I have seen some school in others places in Thailand reaching 850,000 THB per year !!

Ask for clear transparency about the fees structure : lunch, school bus if needed, accident insurance, examination fees, etc... and also payment by trimester, semester, discount if pay in full in advance, discount if you have more than 2 kids in same school, penalties for late payment, enrollment fee, etc...

For british school, check accreditation on Cambridge International Examinations ( C.I.E ) : http://www.cie.org.uk/i-want-to/find-a- … ge-school/

Check also in the website of each school all their accreditations as well as the teachers curriculum vitae and background, a good schools should publish everything in their website, and plan also to go to visit the school, note that some waiting list can be very long, over years for some school.

Look for Niva International School and Grace International School for affordable
tuition fees.
