Intended move to Abu Dhabi

Dear members of this forum,

I would like to invite comments from those of you who have recently made the move to AUH. My circumstances are outlined below:

Commencing mid-September, I would like to hire a serviced apartment for 3 months (1 bedroom in a high rise and no parking needed). Hopefully I can look for a larger apartment during this period. Can someone please share their ideas on location and price estimate. I would like to commute to the Police GHQ area and hence would not like to be too far away.
