I would suggest that you join the Mauritius forum in order to engage in discussions with members and ask about any info pertaining to the Mauritian lifestyle.

Mauritius is known as "Paradise Island", it's in the Indian Ocean and has beautiful beaches. It is culturally diverse,chilled and laid back with a touch of modernity, politically stable, has attracted lots of Foreigners lately... that's an overview from a local's perspective.
