Dear readers,

If any of you are able to advise on long-term prescription medication (diabetes and cholesterol) that my doctor currently prescribes, I would be very grateful. My supply would last me 5 months and I intend to carry medication during my move to UAE. I shall also carry a letter from my doctor stating these are my prescription medicines.
Would I need to carry any other documentation or follow any other procedures?

Subsequently, I would need to see a doctor in UAE for continuation of my medication. Can someone please advise if doctor visits and prescription medications is covered by
(a). insurance cover
(b) public health system
(c) individual payment.

Thank you in advance.

Your company will provide you a health card and it covers all the medical expenses. But it depends on which card (product) is provided by your company. Almost 90% coverage is ensured by all the products. (Even 100%)

Many thanks for your feedback, dear Shanafashyaana.
It is a source of relief.
Kind regards
