The height of audacity!

Post new topic

Anyway, I was walking down my street when i heard the call to prayer.

I wasnt going to mosque, so i was a bit wary about being caught out by some motawa, thinking they may escort me to the nearest place of worship.

I turned the corner on to othman bin affan road and i felt an unusual, yet tender breeze.

After doing up my fly, i realised the degree of front (!) I had just demonstrated and how it might have been misunderstood as an audacious stunt.

I was wandering, has anyone else wittingly or not, ever done something as courageous or risky here?

Obviously we should keep it clean and talk about how a friend did it to clarify no participant on this forum did anything illegal or unislamic.

cos we never would :)

The riskiest I have ever faced was driving a totally pissed single Irish lass back to the Military hospital from Philip Holzmann compound on Al Kharj Road early Friday morning at 1:00 after a party, where we provided the music, since she refused to stay back as had been prepared by the compound for all singles at that time. There was no one else willing to take her cos they were all totall gone. I must have been the only soul who was sober that night cos I only drink tea.

How can anyone from Sri Lanka not drink tea? Its like asking an Arab to refuse dates.
