Hi,

Moving abroad is an adventure for both parents and children: settling overseas is a challenge for each family member.

How was the move to Iraq for your kids?

How did they manage to adapt to their new environment?

Share with us your experience and advice on settling in Iraq with children.

Thank you in advance,

Priscilla

Iraq is one of two countries in the world where they are still putting lead in the gasoline. This means your kids will get daily lead exposure. And the education system is weak.

I didnt like education system too.  Nurseries and Kindergartens mostly usingt kurdish language and little english. And teachers are non educated. This is very strange for me. And prices are high.
So after trying one nursery for my child,it was horrible. Ive been decided to not try anymore.
No kids playgrounds, no even nice kids clothes shops. So i have no idea what to do for family people here.
After living for 5 years in UAE , with nice shops, with 24hours delivery shops, free gym , very good nurseries, and a lot a lots of more nice things, you start thinking what am i doing in erbil :/

You may mean itaq and bahrain. Cuz in Bahrain they do the same, still using gasoline
