Hi,

While living abroad, some expats wish to get involved in the local community life.

What organizations expats can turn to if they want to volunteer in Ghana?

How to join a charitable institution, what are the steps?

Which causes have the greatest need for volunteers in Ghana?

there are many organisations in the volunteering sector. Some outside Accra, and providing community services to challenged kids (e.g. Village of Hope @ Adaklo in the Volta Region). There is an Autism Center providing free education to the kids and other deprived ones in Accra which is in need of someone to assist with fund-raising and so on.

I volunteer with Rotary/Rotaract Club of Accra East.
Let us know your area of interest and i can provide you with some to consider.

I am an expat from India & a qualified Pharmacist staying in Accra. I have a lot of free time in the later evening & in weekends. Please let me know if at point i can be of any help to any NGO.
