Hi,

While living abroad, some expats wish to get involved in the local community life.

What organizations expats can turn to if they want to volunteer in Madagascar?

How to join a charitable institution, what are the steps?

Which causes have the greatest need for volunteers in Madagascar?

Thank you in advance for sharing your experience and advice,

Maximilien

Mantasoa

Here at Kanana, Mantasoa we can always use people to write websites, teach English and computing, help train youth when we have our life-skills course, or teach a new craft. We also have Pre-school and Primary school so ideas welcome.
We work with rural needy families in Community Development.
We would love to have a doctor too!!
It would be great to have some people to come and lead a Praise Service on a Sunday afternoon (or other times). We run children and youth groups too.

We accept volunteers at Sainte Luce Reserve, if you are interested in wildlife and farming.

Our website and Facebook page have many photos and plenty of information about volunteering and you can find us by using google and looking for Sainte Luce Reserve.  You can also find other organisations that accept volunteers by looking up the Lemur Conservation Network.  They have a comprehensive list of organisations that accept volunteers.
