Hi,

I was wondering if anyone of you knows this wine…
It was in a Vietnamese sausage recipe.
I can't find it anywhere.

Su Bagnall

If it's vietnamese wine, then vinegar will be a suitable replacement!

You can find it in Chợ Lớn- Chinatown, District 5 or you can do it by yourself with star anise, cinnamon bark,
whole clove,..and white wine. Just go the market, ask them selling all things to make a Mai Quế Lộ wine, they would sell it for you.

Oh, you live in Nha Trang, my bad!
If you cant find it there, you can do it by yourself. Its not difficult to make it. After 2 weeks, you can have the best Mai Quế Lộ wine as you wanted.
If you have trouble with Vietnamse language, I can send the recipe for you, you print it out, go to the market and show them, they would sell it and you take them home and make Mai Quế Lộ wine.
Cheers,

Good joke! Su Bagnall

Thanks hummingbirds,
I now have a much better idea where to look for or simply do it.
