how much you must have to be granted entry

hello am adekunle femi from nigeria pls i want to know the acual amount i must have on me before i can be allowed in at the point of entry at the airport .i got a job offer in maldives my employer is manpower ltd but i wasnt allowed in cos i dont have up $1000

You mean you were turned back the Male International airport because you didn't have have up to 1, 000 USD?
But you have your employment certificate from your employer, so why do they deny you entry?
this is so sad. So you have to board another flight to Maldivies
