Hi Everyone,

I have a question regarding Resident Pass. If let say my passport is expiring in Mid of Next year, means I will renew my passport in end of the year or early next year. But I'm also considering to apply RP-T immediately due to family reason.
My question is: Is it possible to apply RP-T when my passport is expiring in 10months time? if it is not possible, then next question is, if let say I get my passport renew, and then my working permit is still in the old passport, is it possible to apply for RP with the new passport using work permit in the old passport as reference, because one of the criteria to apply the RP is we are currently employed with a valid work permit.

Hi Darwin,

I think the best idea to do is to inquire directly with the immigration office they are the one who will tell you exactly what to do without a hitch.
