Timeline for Iqama? (100+ days)

Thanks in advance for any insights or suggestions.

I arrived in the KSA on a work visa (180/multiple) and my employer applied for my Iqama in late May (100+ days ago).   There is still no update, although I've heard it is at the passport office (already left MoL).  I'm worried that it won't be ready until after Hajj (since I need to to apply for my family's visas), but I welcome any suggestions, experiences or insights.  Thanks again!

100+ days is a lot. Generally you gets your Iqama in between 2-4 weeks. However, due to some issues, it might get delayed upto 2 months. But more than that? I believe you have to verify your company status isn't red. Also check with the Mandoob directly if possible.

Thank you very much for your quick and insightful reply.  I am trying to consider all factors of course.  Ironically, the company's status is platinum, so I am just looking for other factors I might be missing.  Also, I am told that the Mandoob checks almost every day at Jawazat. Thank you again!

What are they saying the reason behind the delay?

My understanding is that they aren't telling the company/Mandoob any reason for the delay, just that it isn't ready.

A mandoob is a person who can go inside the office and ask. Being platinum would make things only easier for him to get the reason.

I am still not convinced that this is just a DELAY.
