Surfing Mauritius

Post new topic

Hi folks,

Am considering a move to Mauritius and want to come out and visit first - hoping to combine some househunting/job searching with some surfing!

Google tells me there are a few breaks on the island in the South (with better waves to be found on Reunion since it blocks a lot of the swell hitting Mauritius).

Has anyone surfed any decent waves in Mauritius? Are the breaks consistent?

Thanks!

Steve

consistent - NO - but perfection YES! It is off season now, but in season the waves do get great. A couple spots to adventure to in the South.
