Meet new friends in Norway

:)  I have read that Norwegians are reserved people or maybe very shy or don't really talk to strangers. I hope to meet people in Norway around my age, even foreigners like me. I visited Stavanger four times now, people are very polite but not much of a talker. The only time I was approched by someone was when I was hiking, a short but nice conversation. Will be glad to have a pen pal, haha making it old school. Or just people to chat with.  :D
