Looking for work in Hessen!

Hi All,

I've just moved to Wiesbaden to live with my (German) girlfriend and I really need to start working!!

I have broad experience as a Business Analyst, Project Manager (predominantly in financial services).

Obviously it would be great to continue on with a "career" role but this may be hampered by the fact that my German is not great (but improving slowly!).

I've updated my CV to reflect the German market but does anyone have any advice for me?

I drive and am quite used to travelling to visit clients etc.

Working for a Brit / U.S company would be ideal I suspect.

Thanks

Chris

You did not mention your nationality (EU or non-EU) and whether you already have a work permit for Germany.
This, together with your German language skills, are the major determining factors for your chance to find a job.

Hi,

My German is pretty darn basic but I am an EU citizen so entitled to work!!

Yes, there are many banks. But most jobs (and definitely the customer-facing ones) require very good German.
