Hi,

When settling in Tanzania, one of the priorities is to be able to make phone calls.

How to proceed to get a landline installed in Tanzania?

What are the mobile operators?

What is your average monthly budget?

Thank you in advance for sharing your experience,

Maximilien

Land line service provided by TTCL. Waste service.

What are the mobile operators?

Vodacom
Airtel
Tigo
Zantel

What is your average monthly budget?

25 - 50 USD/ month depending on usage including internet. Communication is very inexpensive if compared with US UK and probably aussie.

I guess mobile service is expensive if compared with UK. I used pay less than what I pay here for local calls, internet and also international calls.

No idea on landlime cost..

Get airtel its what I use they have the best service I pay tzs 9000 per week for 6gb data so I can watch the us shows on the internet. Don't bother with a land line it cost to much to get installed and internet isn't fast enough through it. I live in mbezi so a bit away from Dar city centre. If your building your house as I did fit a WiFi dongle for anyone to use when they visit. I used giff gaff in the UK which it alot cheaper but you have to shift your views from the UK to a third World Country
