Air conditioner
Hello all. Hope this doesn't sound too eccentric, but we are considering moving to Basel in about a year, and based on my previous trips through Europe, I realize air conditioning is not too common. I can definitely live daily life without A/C, but I simply need A/C to sleep on hot days!
My general question is, let's say I rent an apartment in Basel. Are there upper-end apartments available that may have an A/C unit installed? And, if I get an apartment without A/C included, will it be illegal [or will my neighbours treat me as undesirable!] if I were to get a portable or window unit in my bedroom?
