Sinking of "El Faro"

Besides the obvious lost of life, I wonder how many families lost their possessions and cars due to the sinking of the ship. Insurance recovery is likely to only be partial so some will have a hard time replacing their possessions.

May they forever have fair winds and following seas.

Freight Shipping insurance is mostly based on weight, even for the cars it will only pay marginal at best. My thoughts and prayers goes with the family of the ones lost at sea. May God have mercy on their souls....RIP

This comes to show the power of a hurricane, never take it for granted. The ocean is beautiful but treacherous.
