Public Health Care

Post new topic

Soraya_

I am an expat living here approx. 6 months now.  I got my residency that expires yearly - I believe as my husband is Jordanian.  Am I allowed public health care in Amman Jordan for delivery of a baby as I am pregnant or I must go to a private hospital?

Depends on the health insurance of your husband. So you have to check that first. If he doesn't have one or you are not included you can go to a public hospital but you have to pay for it.
Most expats goes to private hospitals as they have better services than the public ones.
