Hey everyone I'm bilal from Algeria and going to marry in Malaysia can anyone help me with the documents that I will need for marriage? And what latter approval marriage for non malaysiany citizens means?how and where I can get it ?waiting for your answers thanks my regards

Hi bilaldh,

I wouldnt know what is the procedure of marriage for non malaysia . For marriage in malaysia you have to register on respective website depend on which area you would like to get married . Lets say if you want to get married in kl area. You may visit this website "jais.gov.my" or contact 03-55143400 for any inquiries . I have a contact if you want to know further info . You really should state clearly whether your spouse to be is Malaysian.

And if either are Sunni Muslims.

Be warned you wont get the right to work if you marry Immediately (assuming Malaysian) as they are suspicious of certain marriages now. You should prepare evidence of it being a real relationship.
